Yeti — Restaurant in Tokyo

Forced into offline dictation to draft my review, because the Rakuten Mobile signal doesn't reach into this restaurant, even though it's on the ground floor. They have Wi-Fi from SoftBank, but that was to no avail for me. There were some other Wi-Fi signals I didn't want to mess with. Town Wi-Fi wasn't helpful, either. So on with the actual review of the restaurant:

About 25 seats in a somewhat linear layout, but not a narrow one. Decor is kind of hybrid izakaya and something plain, and the menu is tilted towards Japanese as well as Indian options. I suspect it has a history as a teishoku place in the Japanese style, but I asked one of the Nepali staff members (in Japanese) and he said it goes back 15 years or so because they don't get enough foreign customers. One lunch menu was Indian and the other was for teishoku set lunches.

I went with a keema curry and egg set to see how far they pushed in the Japanese direction but it was pretty safely Indian. The spice level was good, though a bit slow to hit me. The naan was unusual in a kind of neutral sense, definitely not sweet nor yeasty. The rice, salad, and soup were all Japanese style, and I would say the salad dressing was above average. マトンカレー（860円）

カレーソースについて 複雑なスパイスの感じはなく、日本人に合わせたカレーです。かなりマイルドでカレーの初心者にはおすすめ。

具について これが一番残念でした。小さい肉が3個だけでその他は具がない。。。 大久保のネパール料理は具がたっぷりです。

ご飯について 日本米を使用。

ドリンクについて ラッシー、烏龍茶、コーヒー 少数精鋭で無難な選択

ボリュームについて ご飯の量は標準でも多めでおかわり可能 カレーソースの量が少ないので、お替りは中々できないでしょう。大久保のカレー屋はカレーのお替りもできるようなシステムです。

接客について ホールスタッフはネパール人ひとり。 とても丁寧で、日本に長いのか空気を読むのが上手い方でした。とても「間の良い」接客をされています。
