Karien — Restaurant in Tonosho

Ordered the 8000 yen set, it's an amazing experience with more than 10 dishes. The restaurant itself is really local and the Chef is appearantly experienced. This is definately a hidden gem in shodoshima. Highly highly highly recommend!! (Surprise: the sashimi fish they offered in the set is called Aji, and the fish is still moving when they offer it to you!! this might be quite horrible but the tenderness of the fresh fish you cannot eat it...

One of the best meals we ever had in Japan and in general! The chef and his wife were amazing hosts and made sure we have the best experience possible. Highly recommended for anyone visiting shodoshima. The food was simply amazing, fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. As we were the last guests in the restaurant, the owner even gave us a ride back...

We came to the restaurant because of the google review. And it lives up to the expectations. We ordered 7700 yen set. The food is fresh and delicious. The owner is very professional about every dish. He is very friendly and sincere as well. I will recommend the place to people who want to enjoy decent Japanese food...
