The food is only 4 stars but the service is 6 stars hence the 5 stars rating. I tried both the black ramen and spicy miso ramen. I could taste the fragrance of soy sauce when I was slurping the black ramen. I wouldnt make the special trip to come back nor queue more than 15 minutes for this. Read moreIt was my first time trying Toyama Black ramen and I was really impressed. Isshin ramen is well known and was quite busy at lunch.
You use a vending machine to order your ramen.
They have a variety of options to choose from - we ordered the spicy miso and black ramen. Both ramen soup bases were delicious - full of flavour. The star of the ramens were the noodles - made fresh daily in store with local ingredients. Probably the best noodles I’ve had in a long time.
The staff here were great - very friendly and nice. Our orders were brought out quite quickly despite being busy.

Handmade noodle also less heavy compare to the usual ones. Love their homemade kmichi with vinegar (add on your own). Char siew meat was very tasty n tender. Fried chicken optional (big size), draft beer recommended!! My partner tried their shoyu Ramen which we think was less savory and not very outstanding. Partially also we are not fans of...
