Shiozaki — Restaurant in Toyohashi

One of the iconic shops in the area, run by a group of aunties and uncles. The ramen is basically a variation on the same base - you just either get a dollop of miso in it or not, a chunk of butter or not, etc. All of them include a mountain of sprouts. It seems like I always get the yakibuta ramen, which comes with three thick slices of cold chashu - make sure you warm them through in your soup. ２０２３年１２月２６日、火曜日、午後７時１５分頃、ふたりで初訪問。 みそラーメン　８００円 みそ焼豚ラーメン　９５０円 ギョーザ（６個）３５０円✕２ チャーハン（スープ付き）７５０円 を注文しました。 北海道の札幌で、ラーメンを食べたことがあるので、少し期待していました。 ギョーザは、焼き目が良く、ひと口食べた瞬間は、美味しいと感じたのですが、後味に、癖がある。冷めると、美味しくない。 みそラーメンのスープが薄い。麺は縮れ麺でも太くもなく、もっちりもしていない。茹ですぎ。 チャーハンは、パラパラ系ではなく、しっとり系。まぁまぁかなあ。スープは、醤油辛くて、ひと口飲んだのみ。 年配の男性３人で、切り盛りされていた。その内のひとりが足がもう弱いみたいで、会計を済ませたお客さんの座敷テーブルの片付けを、カウンターの椅子の背に手をかけ、身体を支えながら、やっているのを見て、気の毒になった。 小上がりに４人用の座敷テーブルが３卓、カウンター席が１１席あった。 お水の注ぎ足しも、ティッシュもなかった。 だけど、年配の方が、一所懸命に仕事をされているのだからと思い、色々我慢した。 お客さんは、次々に入ってきた。 昔ながらの、ごてごてしていないラーメンを求めての常連客なのかなと思った。 会計は、ふたりで３２００円だった。同じ値段で、一昨日、美味しいお店に当たったから、それを思い出して、少し後悔した。 でも、一所懸命、年配の方が頑張ってい...
