Steak House 88 Jr. PARCO CITY — Restaurant in Urasoe

We ordered 2 different upsized steak sets to share and were amazed at the affordability of the steak. Our only qualm was that the available doneness options started from medium, followed by medium-well and well-done. We usually prefer medium-rare, but due to the language barrier, we couldn’t quite get our request across to the service staff. However, all was good in the end because the steak was really tender.

What we loved was that we were given 3 different sauce options, and I personally enjoyed the garlic soy sauce. Additionally, the free-flowing soup, rice, and salad were a nice touch, though one serving was more than enough for us.

Side note: We visited a higher-end restaurant, Jack’s SH, after this, and we all agreed that 88 was far superior, both in terms of the steaks...

I gotten the combo of steak and grilled chicken. The steak will tend to be abit tough if opt for medium well and as the hotplate will continue to cook the steak. We gotten another steak (medium rare) and it turned pretty nice and tender. The only things good about the meal was the salad and the price. The steak was absolutely awful. It had no flavor at all, despite drowning the steak in the steak sauces that they had provided.
