This is not Italian food. This is a fusion of Japanese Italian food and a bad version of it. We booked this place through the website during our vacation package. We didnt realize we booked the Special Set. We also paid for it when we bought our package. So our dining experience finally came and we tried to explain that we didnt want the special set. We tried to order pizza. They said that would cost extra. We agreed to pay. However, not getting the set was not an option. We were forced to get the set. So we decided not to buy the pizza as we would have a table full of food we didnt want and we would feel bad wasting food. That happened anyway because of how bad it was. The appetizer of the Sardine Salad will surely make most people gag at best. Then the Beef Pasta came. The beef tastes awful and the pasta was under cooked (not al dente, we know good al dente- this was under cooked) and the sauce was some sort of brown gravy with balsamic... it was awful. I will stop here. No need to continue. Its a pretty place and the staff were nice minus not letting us say no to the set. Maybe the pizza is good...
Read moreRistorante di Canaletto offers a charming Italian dining experience within Tokyo DisneySea. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to dine here after a wait of about 45 minutes to an hour. The menu features Italian classics, and we enjoyed their spaghetti and pizza. I also tried the Chef's recommended Antipasto, which was beautifully presented and added a touch of elegance to the meal. While the food was good overall, it didn’t leave a lasting impression beyond being solidly enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. One detail worth noting is that their menu appears to change monthly. Since we visited at the end of August, certain items were only available starting in September, so it’s worth double-checking if there’s something specific you’d like to try.
The restaurant itself is spacious, with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Ristorante di Canaletto is a good choice for a leisurely Italian meal while...
Read moreWe were having a dinner here after the reservation through Tokyo Disney Sea application. It were fairy hard to book the slot so we had quite an expectation. We ordered the chef's recommended pasta dish and Margarita pizza. The pasta was actually a mushroom sauce pasta with two (very) small salmon fillets. The pasta was a bit undercooked and the taste wasn't that tasty. So we asked for the salt and pepper. The waitress was quite surprised for what we asked salt and pepper. It came back with the salt poured to a small plate, and there was no pepper available. The pizza was ok but still I expected a bit more. The services was great and the atmosphere was good. But for us, I think we can find better pasta outside this Tokyo Disney...
