La Mancha — Restaurant in Usuki

All made fresh when you order. We had everything on the lunch menu. Steak was cooked to perfection. Had the sea bass,was delicious. Bread had a crunchy crust and soft on the inside. Have always had the seafood paella, this chicken paella is now my new favourite. Even ordered extra Spanish omelette. Everything we had was so good. Now for the desserts. All made in house. Strawberries were locally sourced. Absolutely loved the strawberry shortcake...and the strawberry tart...and the churros...and the creme caramel (commonly called pudding in Japan)... really all the desserts! Hot chocolate thick and yum. Coffee drinkers would enjoy the coffee. Strong without that...

ランチでパエリアとジビエをいただきました。パエリアは味付けがあっさりしていてとても美味しかったです。ジビエは人生で初めて食べましたが、肉肉しいのに臭みがなくてとても美味しかったです。お店の雰囲気も本当に素敵で、海外を味わえました。 店主も奥さんも優しそうな方でした。店主の奥さんがスイーツを手作りしていて、栗のケーキをいただきましたが、見た目も味も格別でした。しかも、奥さんは気さくな方で面白いことを言ってました笑笑

また臼杵市を訪れる機会があったら、ぜひ立ち寄りたいし、良いお店を知ってるんだと同行者に自慢したいお店の一つです。
