Kyo-no-kaze — Restaurant in Yamaguchi

What an absolute gem of a place to eat and drink. I travelled to Yamaguchi prefecture with my wife to explore the hidden areas of Japan and got lucky. We love eating and I found this place online with a great review. It didn’t disappoint. My wife and I had an amazing dinner with the chef (owner) treating us like family from out of town. We had an absolutely fabulous experience here. We only had one night in Yamaguchi City and they couldn’t have been more accomodating and welcoming of us foreigners.

The food was so fresh and beautifully presented.

The owner had a fantastic translation app that we were able to communicate well and he gave great dining recommendations.

It was a small cozy restaurant/bar. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting/ passing through!
