九つ井 大和店 — Restaurant in Yamato

[AUG 2021] The location is near Yokohama Machida I.C. Just like the main store, there is a grove-like garden and private rooms. I ordered Chirashi Soba (2,000 yen).

The soba itself was delicious, so the toppings were just an added bonus. Above all, the soba was thin but had a firm texture. The soba broth was not too strong, but it's also not lacking in flavor. When I asked the staff about the sashimi topping, she said that this restaurant also uses yellowtail. It had no fishy smell, and it was delicious whether eaten alone or with soba noodles. After enjoying Fried Manju (250 yen) and tea to cleanse my palate, I was starting to feel more energetic.

The Yamato branch is also far from the station, but it's just a short drive from the Tomei Yokohama-Machida I.C., and it might be a good idea to combine a trip there with shopping at Minami-Machida Granberry Park.

[SEP 2021] I was going to have dinner with an acquaintance, so I tried to make a reservation, but found out that reservations were only accepted for course meals. I gave up because it would cost more than 10,000 yen per person. Instead, we ordered Chirashi Soba (2,000 yen) for each person, Seasonal Vegetable Tempura (1,700 yen), and Simmered Vegetables (1,000 yen) to share among the three of us.

A dish of Simmered Vegetables was brought to the table. It was very elegantly prepared, but the portion was small, not enough for everyone to dig in. We would have to eat it like a small side dish. We began to eat quietly, sharing it among ourselves. The Vegetable Tempura was colorful and elegant, but the portion size was just right for me to eat in one bite. It was lightly fried and satisfying in terms of taste.

The Chirashi Soba was filling, so it was fine as a meal, but I was a little disappointed. In the end, we had Fried Manju and delicious tea, and although it didn't quite meet my expectations, I was grateful for the comfortable atmosphere and...

先日家族の祝い事で利用しました。 近くに住んでいますが利用するのは初めてでした。 駐車場から店内までの短い距離でも趣を感じる良い雰囲気で、個室に入るとこれがまた綺麗。さりげなく「おめでとうございます」と書かれた飾りが置いてあり、その出すぎないおもてなしの心に感激しました。 メニューも勿論素晴らしく、アワビと鳥取県産のたむら牛を中心に、お造りや鮎の塩焼き、手打ちそばに至るまで全ての料理の隅々に細かな思いやりを感じました。 私自身が同業ということもあり、良くも悪くも違う視点で評価してしまう事が多いのですが、とにかく感心の連続でした。 また、担当していただいた給仕係の仲居さん(男性の方。名前を伺わなかった事を後悔)も大変心地よく、明るく出過ぎず、快くサービスして下さいました。 年齢を伺うとまだ23才とのことで完成度の高さにこれまたビックリ。 自分のその頃や今の職場のスタッフと照らし合わせると恥ずかしくなるくらいしっかりとしたマインドで勤められていました。 当方、幼児が居たこともあり時間が押して閉店時間を過ぎてしまったのですが、スタッフの方々誰一人としてネガティブな空気を感じさせない素晴らしいホスピタリティでした。 …敢えて一つだけお願い出来るなら、お子様メニュー的なものがあったら嬉しかったですが…。代わりになるメニューを丁寧に説明して頂いたので良かったです。 一般的には確かに安くはないかもしれませんが、正直この値段帯のお店は多いです。トータルでみると考えられない位素晴らしいコスパです。 とにかく驚きと感激の連続でした。 お陰で大変良い会になりました。また利用したいと思います。 ...
