Happy Yamato — Restaurant in Yamato

Visited multiple times and found weird vibes .This was the only place where i felt racism as not being a japanese … The staffs behavior When some Japanese entered and when some south asian entered is totally different. Felt like not welcomed every time i visited . The food was kinda good though…, I love to have the Nepali food and this one is just around 300 meters away from where i leaving so …. But whenever i plan for visit Nepali restaurant with friends I would go other places. Treat the same to all , great the same to all .. Might seat 40 with a bit of squeezing on the benches. Plain, relaxing atmosphere with Japanese TV at low volume. Nepali staff and Wi-Fi available on request. A few minutes from the station, but not a bad location.

Curry of the day was tender chicken with mushrooms. 2 chili's was probably stronger than yesterday's 4 out of 10, so I think this is more of a linear scale. Refillable naan was excellent, just on the edge of where I might have said unevenly cooked. Perhaps a bit sweeter than average. Salad and coffee we're both pretty average for an overall score of a high four stars.

As I left I noticed another small room with a table for a small private dinner. Also worth noting the nearby Himalayan...

I’ve been in Japan for 3 years, visited several Indian restaurants in different cities. I must say this one is the gold standard for Indian restaurants. Tasty foods, friendly staff, inexpensive price, and romantic ambiance.
