I don't read japanese at all so all i had to say was "osusume nandeska" which means (what do you recommend) and whatever they served me was very delicious. The eel was not as crispy as other people mentioned and the sitting position on the floor is not very friendly when you're not used to sitting like the japanese. They make it very fresh so it took about 20-30 minutes for my order to arrive. It was definitely worth the wait. They also accept credit cards.

ヤバい。 せいろ蒸しってこんなのなんか！ いつもひつまぶしばかり食べていた。 確かにせいろ蒸しがメニューにあるお店は なかなか見たことがない。 その意味だけで、柳川に来た価値があるってこと。 むしろ…柳川に来て、せいろ蒸しを食べないのは なんてもったいないことか。 そんな現実を知ることができ、 あえて食べなくても…と思っていた過去の自分に ビンタをして、全力で味を楽しみました。 ほんと、次も来ないと！！って、 強く思わせていただきました。 平日の夜だからか、あまりお店には人がおらず、 人気店なのに…と引っかかりましたが、 食べないのはそんだわ、本当に。 なので、スーパーラッキーでした！！ ごちそうさまでした！ 有り難うございました！！

the food here was so good i felt i had to leave a review 😊 we visited on a monday around 1pm - the restaurant was nearly full, but we were seated right away. seating is tatami-style on the floor, which adds to the authentic atmosphere
