Kirin Yokohama Beer Hall — Restaurant in Yokohama

Came here after the tour because we had the munchies (which if you can, PLEASE do the tour. For 500 yen you get 4 beers and snacks plus the most immersive brewery tour you’ll ever go on).

Staff was friendly and food was delicious! We got the platter to try a bunch of different things. We really wanted the premium kirin beer that apparently you can only get here and at the factory....

昔から記念日や海外赴任出発前などで家族で来てます。久々の搾りたてのラガービール、食事は最高でした！ただ残念なのは定員の愛想の無さ、まだ閉店まで時間があるのに一部電気を消灯していて、早く帰るよう促された感じでした。またベテランクラスの男性も怖い感じで店の店員さんの雰囲気を台無しにしてる感じに見えました。受付も3組しかいないのに煩い席の隣を通され、動線を短くして対応したいのがあからさまに感じました。コロナ以前の時より雰囲気は随分変わっていました。土曜日なのに客が少ないのが納得です。キリン総務様、早期の立て直し【梃入れ】を望みます。I've been coming here with my family for a long time on anniversaries and before leaving for overseas assignments. It was great to have freshly pressed lager beer for the first time in a while! However, the staff were unfriendly, and some of the lights were turned off even though there was still time until closing, so it felt like we were being encouraged to leave early. Also, the veteran men seemed scary and ruined the atmosphere of the store. Even though there were only three groups at the reception, we were seated next to a noisy table, and it seemed obvious that they wanted to shorten the traffic line to accommodate us. The atmosphere has changed a lot since before COVID. It's no wonder there are so few customers even though it's a Saturday. I hope that Kirin General Affairs will quickly turn...
