Updated June 2023: Okay so I went back and this time it was NOT crowded or loud. So maybe my first visit was not a typical day? I still think it would be better to make a reservation. This time I got the Siciliana pizza: no meat and no red sauce, but lots of capers, anchovies, and green olives; in other words, a salt bomb, in a good way. Again, the pizza was really good. Excellent pizza. Went for lunch recently with a friend. We arrived without a reservation but were able to be seated after a brief wait outside. I'd recommend a reservation, there are ~16 seats total, and on the day we went most of those were occupied by a well-groomed but boisterous mamachari gang. Friend got the "Oreste" with eggplant, I ordered (I think) the "Vesuvio" with roasted peppers and house-made sausage. Mine was a little oilier than I'd prefer (sausage), but flavor was amazing. The waitress spoke some English, and they do have an English menu—so I'm sure you can get by with no Japanese if that's something you need. Service from staff and owner was pleasant and efficient. Minus one star for how loud it was inside. Several times we had to stop talking while we waited for the noise from other customers to subside. If you see more than 4 electric mamacharis parked out front, keep walking! Otherwise: recommended, I shall return.

This is a very lovely small hidden place with friendly chef. Pizza was one of the best I ever eaten in Japan. The dough was light and easy to digest. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine , some appetizers and pizza, it was wonderful weekend lunch with excellent pizza 🥰The only minus was , the place don’t accept credit card so we had to run to get cash. I would suggest to accept at least PayPay 🙏.

A great pizza place. Pizza is authentic and the owner/chef/waiter was really attentive, explaining the menu and polite when letting us know it’s one order and one drink per person system. It had a quiet and laid back atmosphere. It’s a little expensive at 5,000 yen for two pizzas and two soft drinks for dinner but it’s worth the price!

One of the best pizza I've had in 8 years in Japan (I'm from Napoli). The chef has been living and studying pizza making in Napoli and Sorrento and he definitely knows the art: the dough is light and easy to digest because of the long raising time allowed to the yeast to make its job. Toppings are well chosen, ingredients are always of high quality. Definitely worth a visit,...
