Rakkyo & Star — Restaurant in Yokohama

Came in curious, came out stuffed and satisfied.

I've tried their Winter season offering パリパリチキンレッグの バターチキン スープカレー and it was superbly enjoyable. I was worried that I maybe needed to add more topping but I was surprised with how generous the portion is with the chicken and vegetables--well, the meal was not cheap at ¥1.7k anyways. Curry is fresh and really tasty that my plate was all clean afterwards.

The milk tea wasn't really great but it won't affect the five star scoring here because of how enjoyable the curry dinner for me was.

Great service too. I came in a little before 9 but they never turned me down even though they are closing at 930pm. That's superb customer service! They never gave me any pressure about hurrying up too. But am considerate so I did finish my dinner on the dot.

The curry soup is very nice here. Got a dinner/lunch set for take out and they took care to make sure it was wrapped well and secure for the ride home. Even was going to call me if I wanted to get out and do shopping before stores closed. Food was nice, the chicken curry with extras was good. Recommend level 3 spiciness if you want a kick but you're hungry. Will try level 6 next time!

I don’t know how many times I came here. I’ve brought over 12 friends here. There’s days I dream about Rakkyo’s soup curry. Size is filling and soup is amazing.

I recommend the “Seasonal vegetable US chicken.” The vegetables are so crispy and the meat falls off the bone. Anyone who likes a bit of spice, go higher than level 5. I am an athletic 50kg woman but half rice is more than enough. To everybody that visits Tsunashima do not miss the opportunity to eat here :) They will not disappoint....
