Gyudon is good. I liked the bibimbap gyudon best. Average service. English menu is available.

Changed my star rating from 2 to 4. They’ve updated their menu and new dishes were added apart from the beef bowls they do from the simplest to kimchi beef bowls or ones with cheese on it.
They’ve also improved their house tea and I am pretty sure their gyudon tasted better than way back in 2012.
Staff: They also started to hire staff speaking in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
Service is quick and I also witnessed staff regularly sanitizing tables and chairs. Staff are also wearing face masks and are polite.
Price: Still very much cheap compared to other restaurants of same level (what we call Japanese “fastfood”). Sukiya’s beef bowl, no matter the basic one or the most flavorful, is still more delicious than Yoshinoya’s in my opinion.
Ambiance: They have slightly changed the interior of the place in 2019 and it looked better.
Payment: They accept cash payment. I can’t remember but I think they also accept Suica and mobile payments.
Busy hours are lunch at weekdays (12:00 noon to 1:00PM). Dinner (7:00PM) is also busy but not as bad as lunch. Weekends are okay.

Read more先月(先週)、暑いあつい中でスタミナをつけようとすき家に行きました。
目的は「牛の合いがけカレー」に「うなぎ」と「ニンニクの芽」をトッピングして食べる爺流のスタミナカレーです。
残念ながらその日は入店時間が遅く、テイクアウト(コロナ禍)のお持ち帰り弁当で作ってもらい自宅で食べました。 ただ…冷めてしまい、レンジでチンしたのですが正直にお店で出来たてを食べるのとは段違いで美味しくありませんでした。
それから何日かした昨日。 やや心の隅に不安を抱えながら、出来たてをお店で食べたいとやって来ました。
しかし…💧 不安は的中です。 この前食べたのが先週8月。 今日は9月。 そうです…季節メニューの交換で爺の大好きなニンニクの芽(Wニンニク)は提供されていなかったのでした…💧
本当に毎年ニンニクの芽の提供期間が短くて、爺は涙を流しています。💦
しょうがないから今日は「牛の合いがけカレー」と「うなぎ」「カルビ皿」のトッピングでセットを作り食べました…💧
食後のエネルギー充填量は、「ニンニクの芽(Wニンニク)」がトッピング出来たメニューと比べ満タンとはいかない感じです。💧
ニンニクの芽…年中(レギュラー)メニューにならないかな…?💧
