By just looking at the picture, you see a very simplistic ramen with just a few toppings. However, do not let that shy you away from trying out the ramen! It was most definitely Packed with flavor. You can customize the amount of oil, noodle texture, etc. and even add additional toppings. But I always like to order the regular way that it is served at the restaurant. The broth was hearty, the noodles were thick, the spinach was a great choice of veg because it soaks up the broth flavor without watering the soup down, and a lean cut of pork was added to it. At the table there is freshly grated ginger and chili paste which I Highly recommend giving a try. Additionally, we added a side of "fried rice" w/ spring onion. Again, it looked very simple in presentation but it was very tasty which my husband and I did not expect at first glance. We thoroughly enjoyed the ramen served here and will be coming back for more! Just a heads up for first timers, you order at the ticket machine located at the entrance door and then hand it...
Read moreLovely food. The place seems very traditional japonese, few seats, “one man show” with a single chef cooking right in front of you. Buy ticket for food. Good price. English menu. Maybe that is common, but I’m new here so I dont know. I’m vegetarian and thought the corn ramen would be vegetarian too, since I didnt see a reference for meat in it in the menu. However, it did come with a slice of meat in my ramen. I guess the soup base may also not be vegetarian..? Anyhow, if vegetarian, might be a good idea to ask the chef about it. Drink option was only beer, coca cola,...

This place serves Yokohama style tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. You can also get rice but it's ultimately a ramen shop and the ramen itself is enough to fill you up. It's a small shop in between Lawson's and Coco's Curryhouse that seats about 12 people. Orders are placed at the ticket machine by the door. The owner then will ask for your ramen preferences for the soup and noodle firmness by gesturing to his giant sign.
This is my favorite ramen shop! The commonly available miso, shoyu, and salt based soups just can't compete against tonkotsu soup for me. I have yet to find any food location that also serves tonkotsu ramen that can match this one man shop's speed, efficacy and...
