New Delicious Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Yokosuka

This place is practically right in front of you as you step out of the JR Yokosuka train station. It's pretty small with 2-3 tables that seat a max of 8-10.

I had been meaning to try it for a few months so I finally had some time to swing by one Friday afternoon. The menu is pretty typical of most other Indian joints of the area, they just differ really on how it's prepared and how they run their spice levels as some run it milder than others.

I ended up getting a butter chicken curry and garlic cheese naan to scoop it all up. I ordered my curry as "hot" as most other places gives that perfect kick of spice but this place... their hot tasted more like a mild/medium and was somewhat disappointed. It was still good and the cheese garlic naan was stuffed to the edges with cheese, which I LOVE! Just gotta order my curry extra hot if I do end up there again. This place seemed to cater to the Japanese palate when it comes to spice.

If you like your curry with heat, I suggest any of the other Indian joints in the area. If spicy food isn't really your forte but like a tasty meal, this...

This store is a fraud. There is a lunch set only for plain nan. But we were not informed even we had asked in advance.

So, they charged separately for cheese nan, curry, juice and every thing. So I was surprised to see an eventual receipt of 6K yen.

The store keeper was rude as well so I just paid the amount cause I didn't want to create a problem.

The curry, as usual, was hopeless full of gravy and only 1 small piece of sea food.

Please stop degrading our beautiful Nepalese and Indian cuisine.

Same curry can be made for 30 ~ 40 yen at room. U re selling it for 1K yen so, least you can do is add some more meat and vegetables ..

I ordered my food on UberEats, I was super excited to eat my food (butter chicken curry) 2 curry set. I ordered two butter chicken curries since it’s my favorite curry.
