Bread&Circus — Restaurant in Yugawara

The small shop gets busy, but I was lucky to arrive in between crowds. I loved the breads here! I bought a brownie, a scone, and a roll. The brownie was decadent and rich without being overly sweet or fudgey, perfect with a glass of milk. The scone was nice and english, which is a rare thing to find in Japan, and even more so around these parts! It's not that far a walk from wherever you'll be (Yugawara is a small town) so I definitely recommend...

People are choosing bread as if choosing a partner for life: takes ages for some to pick up a piece of cake. That, along with time for the staff to pack every small cake, creates queue.

While bread is tasty (the shop has been a winner in Japan for 4 years in a row), one must be prepared to invest not only money, but his/her time to be able to buy it. By the time you get the chance to get into the shop, not much might be...

7〜8種類の天然酵母を作り、パンの種類別に使用。全粒粉と水で生地をこねて10日かけてつくる事で存在感のあるパンが生まれています。

お店は12時オープン 私は11時15分到着で1番でした。 その後続々と並んでオープン前には20人以上の行列！

オープン後も店内3人までしか入れませんが、先頭だった為すぐに入店。

パンドミはプレゼントしてしまったので その他の感想！

▪️女神のハンバーガー バーガーの肉汁がバンズに溶け込む部分がめちゃ旨。 ボリュームたっぷりでその辺のハンバーガーよりコスパが抜群に良い。

▪️ブルーベリーマフィン 厚みがあるのにも関わらず絶妙なしっとり具合、ベリーの甘酸っぱい味わいと生地の相性が最高。5個くらい食べたい。

▪️ ピロウ芋南瓜小豆 めっちゃボリュームたっぷり。 どっしりとした噛みごたえのある生地の中に、芋、南瓜、小豆がこれでもかってくらいいらっしゃいます。 これ1個でお腹いっぱいです。

▪️ふわもちビスケット これはメープルシロップを購入して あっためてからかけて食べると無限に食べたくなります。
