Keith I did NOT decline the 20% offer. It was offered after we payed. The waitress who served us, saw my husband at the till and didn't offer the discount at that time. After we did pay, they did not offer any refund.

Went here because we had a 20% voucher off food. Which caused a bit of hassle- first the waitress said we would get the discount, after she checked with the manager. Then, after we ordered she came back and said they couldn't honour the discount. Then after we paid, the waitress said the manager was going to honour the 20% discount. We weren't offered a refund and surely the waitress could have told us (or her colleague) about getting the discount.... Anyway, we had the pie and chips, very good. Nice and hot with a little pot of gravy. The place itself has lots of seats with seats outside, a nice relaxing vibe inside. With background music and large TVs. With some small TVs at the booths....

A very friendly pub which is only a few minutes walk from St Helier town centre. Staff were very welcoming. There are plenty of tables to enjoy a meal or just a drink and socialise with friends or watch sport on large TV screens. My husband and I had a 'tennerfest' shared platter which included scampi, smoked salmon, cocktail sausages, rarebit crumpets, croquettes and green salad. Well cooked and great value. It came with a small glass of house wine which I must admit was only 'average' however their Savingnon Blanc was really good. My husband enjoyed the well kept real ale from the 'Liberation Brewery'. Our whole eating experience was fantastic from start to finish!

The staff were amazing at accommodating my daughter who has both an egg and a dairy allergy. She was served a very tasty roast lamb dinner which was ‘yummy’ her words not mine.

I had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection and my partner had the burger which was also very good.

The staff were very attentive, friendly and help and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed.
