I would like to start by saying this was the first time eating here, but it will defiantly be the last. The building was nice and airconditioned it was very full in there. For starter we had garlic bread and I came just under burnt and had absolutely no flavour we complained and got given another that was under cooked. I then had an Hawaiian pizza which was a decent size but was so doughy and under cooker and had way too much cheese in the middle.

I could only eat around the outside. My girlfriend ordered lasagne which came absolutely swamped in sauce. She had to ask to get them to 're plate this and the taste is what you would expect from a coop microwave meal. I find this absolulty terrible considering this is an Italian and that's three pieces of food which they should be cooker beautifully.

Another couple had starters and left shortly after that !

It's a shame this has happened but the owner didn't seem to mind to much.

Do not visit this restaurant if you are...

Me and the missus were on holiday at Jersey and we decided to go for a lovely meal and we fancied Italians. We decided on Casa Mia as it was close by and liked the look of the pictures online. We booked a table and arrived we were seated on a good sized table for both of us and we ordered drinks. The drinks were great and then we ordered food. I seen that they had scallops and I had never tried them before and I know Jersey has very popular seafood so decided to go for them and they were spectacular, wrapped in streaky bacon they matched the flavour so well. For main I had a tagliatelle carbonara and by far my favourite type of pasta dish however wasn't the nicest I've had. The missus had a calzone but there was so much sauce oozing out that it was not as nice as expected. Overall it was a lovely night and we enjoyed ourselves the staff were very pleasant...

Ordered a lasagna to play it safe knowing that being in an Italian restaurant it couldnt be bad. Thoroughly unimpressed food was super greasy and couldn't even see the actually lasagna because of how much liquid was on top and around it. Asked for it to be remade, two seconds later a lasagna came back (the same one) upside down, but I could at least see what I was eating. Tasted like something I'd buy as a microwave meal thoroughly displeased and sent my food back and didn't order anything else. My partner order a pizza, again playing it safe, and was so doughy and not enough topping. We ordered garlic bread starter to share and it was black and burnt all over, so again we sent it back and didn't order anything to replace it because of the disappointment.

Very disappointed because the service team were friendly but due to the shocking food we will not...

Having been here a few years ago and not being too impressed, I thought I’d give it a try now it’s been renovated and under new management. I’m not a huge Italian fan, but the food here is simple, full of flavour and a lot of unusual choices that most typical Italians don’t have. The crab bruschetta appetiser was great value for money, lots of lovely crab meat that wasn’t bulked out with mayonnaise. Scallops were perfectly cooked and the flavours all worked well together. My cod main was absolutely stunning; although some could argue that the skin should be crispy; I don’t mind it like this considering the cod was perfectly cooked. I’d much rather that than risk it being over done. Lovely juicy steak and peppercorn sauce. Overall I’d definitely come back, especially if they introduce set menus or offers.

Ordered pizzas and salad for delivery. The salad was literally just tomatoes and onions. It was fresh tomatoes and onions, which was great. One of the pizzas came crushed in a wet cardboard box. We didn't eat it, so I can't review it. The other pizza had very little topping, too much cheese, and was tastless. Considering they are an Italian restaurant, I'm surprised they have an aversion to herbs and spices. I won't be ordering from here again.

Loved the Casa Mia, it looks good from the street and when inside the atmosphere is great. We had booked a table for the night and the service was excellent with nice cheerful staff. The food and wine was excellent and we would definitely return. I could not believe the size of the calzone, wow.We have recently been back to Casa Mia (feb22) and the food, service and atmosphere was as good as ever.
