The Langtry — Restaurant in St. Helier

My Wife and I had a very terrible experience at The Langtry yesterday. Very terrible customer service from a particular Lady. My Wife had told me some weeks back that she had a terrible experience with the same lady but I didn't take it to heart cos there's this menu we both love. Her customer service was poor, she was rude and unapologetic about it, because I approached her to express my displeasure but it didn't mean a thing, she told me she had to agree with me so she apologised. I couldn't even touch the drink I bought because I was pissed... This is terrible if this is the type of customer experience everyone gets or it's just to my kind of customer. I would like to express my immense appreciation for our waitress (Agnieszka) who took care of us during our friend's birthday party last Saturday. Her professionalism and care were unmatched, from the moment we entered the restaurant, she attended to every detail to ensure we felt comfortable and satisfied. Her smile and kindness made our birthday visit exceptionally pleasant. I Also want to thank the Chef for the exquisite dishes that delighted our taste buds. I highly recommend their food...

Really impressed. Booked a table for a few - ten - friends pre Opera House performance having noticed the recent refurb. Delighted with decision to try it: between us we ordered a range of dishes from a simple yet varied menu inc freshly baked flatbreads, torched mackerel salad, perfect Parmesan polenta chips and a delicious Lebanese style vegetable kofta...
