During our recent family holiday to St. Helier, we were fortunate enough to receive a local's recommendation to dine at Upstairs at Anley Street – and we are so glad we did. As a family of four, we shared the lamb shoulder pie, which was simply divine – the tender lamb and rich flavors were a true delight. Read moreAmazing food! We had a late lunch (party of three) and enjoyed a warm welcome. We arrived slightly early and were seated at the bar for our drinks before being taken to our table. The menu was mouth watering, we chose our individual starters and opted for a home made pie (to share) for a main. Duck fat roasted potatoes and green beans were the perfect accompaniments, the hosts were gracious enough to box our leftovers so we could enjoy at home, once we had eaten our fill! We had the smacked cucumber salad, the pepper toast, creamed corn, nut fritters, and chipolatas.
Wine was beautiful and well labelled for vegans.

Id reccomend booking! Luckily it was just 2 of us So they managed to squeeze us in at the bar.
I was very worried id end up having to find a place that did chips... or a vegan burger. Was very grateful to have lovely food and wine ! This is a must...
