Alsinyor — Restaurant in Amman

I am writing to highly recommend Al Sinior Restaurant for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Amman, Jordan. Al Sinior stands out for its delicious Lebanese cuisine, warm ambiance, and outstanding service, making it an excellent choice for any occasion, whether a casual meal or a special family gathering.

Very good meal except one incident which ruined the experience for us.

Yesterday afternoon, we ordered, amongst other things, an arayes.

Instead we got a kebab!

When we told the waiter that he got the order wrong he said the kebab was an arayes!

We didn’t want to argue.

But when the bill came we were charged for the more expensive kebab, not the cheaper arayes that we ordered and the waiter had claimed he’d served us.

So, the waiter got the order wrong, then tried to deceive us by telling us a kebab was ayares, and now was trying to charge us for a kebab!

We brought it up with the manager who quickly waived the charge for the kebab, which was a positive action but expected.

But dishonesty like this should not be happening in any restaurant. Waiters should be trained to first get their orders correct and then be told what to do if they get it wrong. Lying and deceiving should not be tolerated.

All of this really left a sour taste.

Frankly, everything else was very good.

But I won’t be coming here again because of this...

I recently dined at al sinyor, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.

The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the beautiful setting. The restaurant boasts stunning views that perfectly complement the lunch experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Each dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Mashawi and the Arayes were cooked to perfection, while the seasonal vegetables added a delightful crunch from the salads. The cocktails was the perfect ending—rich and indulgent without being overly sweet.

Overall, Al Sinyor is a gem worth visiting. Great service, fair prices, a breathtaking location, and delicious food make it a must try.
