This location survived the pandemic and is still one of the best places to have a meal in town. The servers are usually very friendly and quick to attend to you. Their menu has undergone a bit of a slight revamp and prices have gone up over the years since they have been here. Having said that I like their hot drinks. I usually have the hot lemon and ginger with a large samosa. And its usually very well made. The food is generally top notch. There's a lot of competition around town in the restaurant space but Java still retains in place in this town as great place to have some food. So I went back there today I ordered Chicken Wings 5 pieces @480 and Large Strawberry Lemonade @270 The Wings came with an extra side dish of chips and salad Food was Amazing...Wings were spicy and well Marinated The Lemonade was nicely chilled with ice Cubes. Their WiFi is still dead..... They are a bit under staffed.... The place has a lot of Customers but few waiters..... So it will take time before you order is plaved.... You better Go and Order From The counter if you are in a Hurry The waiters are nice...but prefer white customers over locals well ventilated Beautiful decor The Menu is wide with a range of options including vegetarian dishes.... Just like any Java in Kenya is a good spot to meet people and is located in Kisumu town CBD area. Its also one of the only places in Kisumu that provides you with WIFI. Sometimes it's not as strong but it's there. The food is great and they are consistent. I have a few incidences where the fresh juice was not fresh.
