Just ok for food. We ordered Alfredo pasta and a tiramisu. They were not busy and we asked if they could bring the food out fast since we had a flight to catch and they were able to do this. Pasta was homemade and tasted good, cooked al dente, but sauce was plain and lacking depth of flavor. Tiramisu was not a true tiramisu, missing the ladyfingers and not having much flavor. Waiters were attentive and place has a certain charm though no view. Cars are whizzing by closely on the street. Able to pay with credit card. A bit pricy for the quality

I have been at Malaika during a week day,at dinner,in July, with a big group of friends and our kids. We have mainly ordered fish based plates: seafood salad, grilled octopus, tuna tartare, tuna carpaccio and a few pizzas. The fish was super fresh and tasty and the same for the pizza,a good Italian pizza. The owner and her family were really nice with us. Maybe the only negative thing is the position on the road, which makes it a bit noisy.otherwise big thumbs up!

Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. The food is nice. But sushi is bad. Rolled not tight, and because of that, it literally falls apart. Literally tasteless feels like it just lumps of rice. Served with a very small amount of dry ginger. In addition, it was too overpriced.

Lovely ambience right by a busy road and opposite a public park (somewhat reminiscent of Old Town in Mombasa). The waiter I dealt with was friendly and accommodating. I had a mixed juice (mango, passion, and pineapple), followed by a Dinesh pizza (yes, it's named after an Indian customer who was a regular at the restaurant) with pineapple as an additional topping, and the vanilla with chocolate chips gelato in a cone. The juice and gelato were excellent. The pizza was missing something (seasoning/heat). Prices are on the higher side (I paid KES 1,500 for the above meal). I'd give my overall experience a...

Racist cafe!!!

The cafe is beautiful so we went there for ice cream. the waitress was very rude. her behaviour was very bad. we had kids with us and they wanted to taste ice cream before ordering and she refused. not only that she was talking in a very rude manner. The owner was there near by, he saw everything and didn’t even bother to come and ask what is wrong. whereas he was personally greeting all the white skin people. Food is extremely expensive. For me , I am never going there back. A very...
