Asian Gardens — Restaurant in Nairobi

ordered takeaway and was told to pick it up after 20min...upon arrival I waited and waited and waited...after almost one hour (!) I was about to leave hungry and only got my order in the last minute when I already stood up and walked to the door angry and dissapointed. Sushi was good but they delivered the wrong one. Lesson learned: look what you get buy before tyou leave and if making takeaway let a boda boda come or get them to call you back when food is ready so to avoid dissapointment. In any case order some two hours before you want to eat. I am a regular patronand like the place but in these Covid times they need to up their game, competition is tough. At least I would have expected an apology while sitting abandonend in the Asian Gardens wasting my time. Anyway, plenty of other places in Gigiri to...

Great food; though the pkace gets a bit too warm due to perspex roofing. Was unfortunately served by a waitress with bad attitude and was rude when we asked for extra sitting to fit the group. Foods from the cold bar took way too long; after everyone else had finished, but was delicious when it finally arrived! Manager did not come out to address delays, but when summoned was very apologetic and remedied situation. Great place but probably need to improve...

Park at the basement, take the stairs and you're at the entrance of Asian Gardens. It has an eclectic vibe, the food is FABULOUS especially the 'Kiss of Fire' Maki rolls and the chicken yakitori!I could eat the Kiss of Fire rolls everyday, that good!
