BEST version of Hong Kong milk tea you can find here in Nairobi with their bobacha. I thought I was in HK, couldn’t help myself to more servings of it! Brought the food all the way back to NYK and it’s still delicious.
Their baos are soft and fluffy, and bulk orders can be made fresh for collection on the same day but do order a few days in advance as it is a small shop and it helps the owner and staff to prepare the ingredients in advance!
Savoury: Beef brisket open bao sandwich (just like kong bak bao), chicken bao and sautéed aubergine open bao sandwich are very highly recommended, it’s so delicious and it made homesick from Asian food feel better.
Sweet: Custard and Kaya bao hands down so good and all fillings are made from scratch, Kaya is also made from scratch with real Pandan leaves 😉 a place to go when missing an assortment of dim sum and Malaysian, Thai, Singaporean dishes.
