A nice restaurant offering Middle Eastern cuisine. Really loved their food. The mutton tika to be precise and freshly squeezed pineapple mint juice. The portions were very generous as well. The staff who served us was very polite, friendly and super helpful. The ambiance is really nice, can easily see myself going here just to dine, chill and catch up with some friends or family. Would be visiting on a regular basis to exhaust all their offerings. Am a huge fan of Middle Eastern cuisine and hadn’t found a place in Nairobi that does it right until Arabesque. Totally recommended and also the prices are really pocket friendly. There’s parking 🅿️ space at the basement of the building, though I suspect it won’t be enough on a very busy day. Anyways, I guess that’s why Uber was invented.

Located in Hurlingham, Arabesque offers very tasty middle eastern cuisine, which is one of my favourites. We ordered mixed grill platter, which came with mutton and chicken kebabs and mutton and chicken mishkaki. Their rice was saffron flavoured and very tasty. Their naan was also very soft and tasty. The food presentation was excellent. Their juices were also very nice. Service was a bit slow. Ambience is good with an option of sitting outside. Prices are reasonable. A definite recommend for lovers of mid East cuisine.

This is an emotional post for me. I seriously love Mediterranean cuisine. This is the most authentic Syrian restaurant this side of Africa. The foods ignited memories of Turkey , Lebanon with all due respect. Sadly, their menu is limited . their strongest point is the shawarma mixes. The arabesque shawarma is playful and filling. I really wanted to try the olive oil . Coffee was not good . They don't have apple tea . All in all this will be my hiding place for a while. You should definitely try it

Disorganized and Disappointing Experience

Our visit to this restaurant was nothing short of frustrating. From the moment we placed our order, it was clear that organization and efficiency were lacking. We specifically asked about the wait time before ordering arosto and wings and were assured it would take 10–15 minutes. However, the food arrived after 40 minutes, and even then, only the arosto was served.

The arosto itself was disappointing—it had a strong mutton Chinese-style flavor, far from the authentic arosto taste we expected. As for the wings, they never arrived until we were about to leave, making the entire experience even more frustrating. Adding to the poor service, the waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and initially brought the wrong food to our table.

Overall, this was a highly disappointing experience. Poor service, inaccurate wait times, and subpar food quality make this restaurant one to avoid. Save yourself the hassle and...
