KFC Langata Road — Restaurant in Nairobi

Edit May 2025: Owner/Manager of this KFC is as unprofessional as their staff. Received a response to my complaint 1.5 months later via email. My response to that has not been answered at all. KFC customer service is non existent here. Shame. Don't fall for the fake 5* reviews.

Staff is unprofessional, gossiping and staring at customers, in this case us. Every item of the order was literally wrong besides of the drinks. Ordered 2x colonel dressing which were not in the bag, wanted to have 2 burgers and the chicken pieces non-spicy, got all of them spicy. Besides of the absurd long waiting time and having customers coming after us being served quickly, we received some extra old and cold fries "for the long waiting time". I’ve given KFC Lang’ata Road multiple chances, but this was the final straw. The food quality has been poor, I've been served undercooked meals and dry chips before, but this time was worse. I waited over 13 minutes for my order while watching it get handed out to drive-thru customers instead. My order number disappeared from the screen, and when I asked about it, the staff gave me a cold stare with no apology or explanation. They looked severely understaffed and untrained. My family and I had a delightful dinner at KFC on Langata Road, and it was truly an amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a family treat. We indulged in their crispy chips, succulent chicken, and delicious burgers, and every bite was satisfying. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour.
