The Circle Chill Spot – A Hidden Gem in Kilimani

Tucked away in a modest complex in Kilimani, The Circle Chill Spot is one of those places you stumble across by accident… and then keep coming back to. It’s not flashy or overhyped, it’s just right.

When you first arrive, you walk through the bottom level of the complex, which also houses a car wash. At first, the sound of water might make you think it’s raining, until you remember you’re literally above cars getting cleaned. It’s a quirky, almost surreal intro, but it adds to the charm.

Around the base level, there are small booths selling juice and snacks, but the real star is Circle Chill Spot itself. The bar spans two levels. Downstairs has a cozy bar area with seating, perfect for casual drinks and light bites. Then head upstairs to find a semi-open balcony lounge that overlooks the lower level. It’s open-air but covered, giving it that relaxed, breezy vibe that works for any occasion.

It’s not massive, but it’s not cramped either. Two large TVs make it ideal for watching football or catching a big game. The staff are super friendly, and the attention to detail in the space is noticeable, clean finishes, stylish design, and yes, even built-in phone chargers along the wall. Very thoughtful.

The drink selection is solid, and while the menu isn’t huge, it’s perfect for light meals, nibbles, and snacks. It’s not the place for a three-course dinner, but if you’re looking for a chill spot to meet friends, have a few drinks, share some laughs, and enjoy a bit of sport? This is it.

As someone who just moved into the area, it’s now only a two-minute walk from home. Safe to say, I’ll be here often. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Kilimani, The Circle Chill Spot is well worth a visit.
