Customer Alert! I am a well seasoned traveler. I have been to many restaurants around the world. There are somethings that are important to me beyond the ambiance and the decor of an establishment. Sanitation and honesty is high on my list. Though this restaurant reviews are outstanding and I’m not here to ruin the experience of others. My experience was less than unsatisfactory. I ordered the Lamb shank to take away. As I admired the restaurant and decided to take a stroll around it. I found myself in front of the kitchen with a view to watch the chefs cook the food. Being this was on a Monday the kitchen restaurant was empty with only one person enjoying his beer. I completely walked around the nice restaurant to return to see the progress of my food being prepared. As mentioned Lamb shank and mash potatoes with vegetables. With the cooks back turn to the stove, the cook warming my potatoes, take his finger put it in my potatoes and taste it. To my amazement I was shocked especially with this Covid. I requested to speak to the manager who i was told was Mr. Francis but was not in at the moment. I received this meal took it home and was going to eat just Lamb and vegetables, leaving potatoes to the garbage. Eating the lamb was a big disappointment being it was the toughest Lamb shank my teeth have chewed on. I called the restaurant and was instructed by mr. Francis to return and will look at it. Upon my arrival the next afternoon. I was greeted by Mr. Francis and the head chef who apologized for his cooks unsanitary practices. After the review of the shank, both agreed that this could be fixed and offered me a choice of meal. I chose the red snapper fish and Mr. Francis assured that the food would be prepared by the head chef himself. I return that evening a d the chef prepared my meal to take away. Getting home I open the bag and see the writing on the container Talapia. I call the restaurant and Mr. Francis was gone and I asked for the Chef. The Chef gets on the line and I asked him what happen to the red snapper and he acted like he had amnesia then stated they only had tilapia. I asked they both agree when I can’t stand talapia. This was totally dishonest. If you like peoples fingers in your food and dishonesty with a leather Lamb shank, be my guest. Never again, they failed to...

The ambience is good, but please improve on the quality and speed of your services. (This review was in October 2019)

I'll give another review for 2021:

I walk in at 1806h, settle & I get the menu. I inform the waiter (one Mr Jackson that I already know what I want to eat). I place the order (which Mr Jackson says will take 30 minutes max).

1904h: My food is not ready yet. I inform Jackson to just pack the food and I would take-away. He rushes to the kitchen to get that done. He comes back. No food. I ask for the bill. I pay. 1907h.

I just got interested & walk by the kitchen. Shock! My order was being prepared at 1912h. From 1806h. ABSOLUTE MADNESS!

I just walk away & leave the food.

If you are looking for quality and service, AVOID...

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, the place was empty which was good for us as we had plenty of sitting options.Staff were quick to serve us.The place has plenty of seating options all with a good view.Loved the quietness of the place beside it being next to a busy road. The menu is quite extensive, had a hard time deciding what to eat as everything looks appetizing.Settled on Indian cuisine which was amazing!!! The food is affordable for those wishing to treat someone or chill out with friend/s. Had dessert - cheese cake. Definitely going back for that and their cocktail menu is a must see. You can tell a place is awesome by their washrooms.....just saying! There was a baby shower happening that day so also a good place...

This place is a little heaven here on earth. Starting with the ambiance, it suits couples, families and even groups of friends. I counted two separate bars and ENOUGH screens to watch football. The restaurant has a pretty outdoor and indoor setup. Now, the food was amazing! We ordered starters which were more generous than expected. The main dishes were well done with flavours to compliment the appearance. You MUST try their pizza, best I've eaten in 2019. Cocktails are great too especially on happy hour (5-8pm) hehe

The Node in Westlands, Nairobi, is an excellent place to work, meet, or relax. The environment is modern, spacious, and well-designed with comfortable seating areas and private meeting rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the internet connection is fast and reliable. They have options for coffee, light meals, and drinks. The Node also has a variety of events and workshops that are held throughout the week, making it a perfect place to network and connect with like-minded individuals.

The Node hosts great events every once in a while giving customers a glimpse of beautiful crafts and products that have been made in Kenya. Their lawn is well maintained and the overall ambience is great. Their food is great and ranges from intercontinental cuisine to Indian cuisine, all of which are served in decent portions. I recommend their lamb shank with mash potatoes. Very filling and delicious. The meat falls right off the bone. Their service is great as well.
