Wok & Grill House — Restaurant in Salmiya

First time on a japanese and thai restaurant. So I expected more special from the food and the fact that its at least not a cheap restaurant. we went there initially to try the buffet but I never see the menu worth it for its price. So I decided to order only food that looks appealing to me, and to be honest I get full but not because I like the food but instead they are too heavy to eat. I expected more on taste, the idea of looking forward to eat again because its tasty but thats not gonna happen. Im not satisfied with the 5 foods that i order oh I found the soup tom yum good but its like our papaitan food but seafood so not really that unique and special if you ask me. But the most discouraging part is the staff I only found 1 staff to atleast know what they are selling and Im not sure if he's a manager or the owner but he's the only one give us time to walk in the menu and feel us welcome. The rest is like Im eating in a eatery or fast food where you need to go to counter to ask for something they are too busy even though there's only 2 table active. The experience was good. The staff was really kind and friendly. I went there with my whole family for the buffet and it was the first time we were going for the Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine. The problem was with the taste. The taste wasn't great as expected. I have tasted sushi and other variety from the cuisine but the taste wasn't great. The juices were awful indeed. I had the worst experience with the juices. They don't have the fresh juices but the powdered mix juices which were like a big no for us. Then the sweets were just OK the cakes were dry. Their seating area was nice and the staff was amazing. Also they had the karaoke setup as well. The price for the buffet was great. The place has a nice ambience and the staff were very polite and nice but that's where all the niceties ended. For one, some of those talking the order had no clue on what the dishes contained. Then, the food took forever to come although only about 4 to 5 tables were occupied. As the crowd for larger, the orders all went haywire. The dishes were received in reverse order with the states coming in a distant last. Asked the staff to help us decide between two dishes.
