Abou Johny Restaurant — Restaurant in Salmiya

It was my first time patronizing this Abou Johny Restaurant, in Baghdah Street 6 Lane.

I visited this restaurant for a family dinner. Frankly I don't get into Arabic / Lebanese Food, but my wife and my son do. They eat any kind of Arabic / Lebanese food.

When I asked them, what were their opinion about the food at this Abou Johny Restaurant? They said they were all good. I just trusted them. I myself only ate what I ordered such as french fries and omelette on the pizza bread. They taste standard french fries and omelette om pizza bread, thin and crispy.

I was impressed with the service that was quick; and the waitress was also quick. I did not need to wait for long time to enjoy our food.

Atmosphere was good, cozy.

The only thing that made us inconvenience was when the male customer sitting on the far edge of my table, keeps staring at my wife. That was really annoying and scarring.

This is a Lebanese restaurant and you have to serve the food the Lebanese way I ordered tawouk and its price was 3 dinars and a quarter The plate came with 10 pieces of small chicken, a small amount of frensh fries, and a quarter of a lemon. I don’t know what it was for. Nothing else came, not salad, not even pickles, or anything The quantity is small compared to the price and the dish. I do not know which kitchen it belongs to. As Lebanese, we do not serve only frensh fries, chicken, and a quarter of a lemon. Need to add more tawook need to serve the plate with some salads and pickles and tawook your dishes was poor

The best, I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Abou Johny From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive.
