ORA Japanese Tapas — Restaurant in Sharq

If i could i would rate it half star ONLY FOR THE IDEA ITSELF❗️”tapas” The atmosphere was fine The service wasn’t that good i had to tell the waitress to remove the dirty napkins.. Our order was: -Salmon kimchi roll, I couldn’t taste the salmon it didn’t taste like it was fresh and the pickled ginger was a disaster -Salmon & Avocado salad, it was green leaves with pine and miso vinaigrette the only delicious dish.. -chicken sando, basically a sandwich that we can make as late night snack from leftovers. -wagyu tenderloin, oily oily oily -lobster capellini, the pasta tasted like it was cooked yesterday, very small portion of lobster and also oily!!

I asked for tap water and they served it with plastic cup!! I thought it was supposed to be a high quality restaurant! I didn’t get the experience i wanted 🙁 And i wrote all this while i was waiting for them to bring the bill so yeah 👎🏼

Hope they improve everything thing about this...

Food 4/5. Tasty, lots of options. Good quality especially considering it’s fish. I would not recommend the risotto nor the donburi. For 4 people portions are pretty small, so we had to order more. Prices are crazy expensive.

Service 3/5 Nothing extraordinary. Friendly waiters, quick response time, for that price I expect nothing less. Infact I was expecting more.

Atmosphere 3/5 The place is modern, not so much Asian looking. Looks more of fine dining. Which is okay. Spaces are tight, it is downtown Kuwait after all. Place sometimes needs reservation outside of office hours. Again nothing special to go home with, especially for the price we paid.

In summary, food is great, price was too expensive, service and atmosphere is average. As I always say, there is no bad product, just...
