I recently dined at Tekka Lumee, hoping for an enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. While the ambiance and menu looked promising, several service missteps marred the overall visit.

Bread Service: Bread is often a staple of any good dining experience, but here, it was almost an afterthought. The bread was served only once, with no follow-up to replenish or even check if more was needed. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing, especially considering that bread service is often a hallmark of hospitality.

Drink Service: When I ordered a Coca-Cola, it arrived as a sealed bottle, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but the lack of a glass of ice was baffling. To make matters worse, the staff didn’t even bother opening the bottle for me, leaving me to handle it myself. Small details like this are critical and were glaringly overlooked.

Order Accuracy: The biggest letdown was the incomplete order. Despite providing clear instructions, the kitchen or staff failed to punch in the full order, resulting in missing items. This disrupted the flow of the meal and left me feeling frustrated, as it seemed like basic attention to detail was lacking.

Overall Impression: While the food that did arrive was acceptable, the poor service overshadowed the experience. The inattentiveness and lack of care in small yet essential aspects made it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. Service is as important as the food in any dining experience, and Tekka Lumee fell short on both counts.
