I found this noodle shop through TikTok - took a tuktuk from my hotel to the shop the next day to have khao piek for breakfast. Their main specialty is the pork khao piek ( with pork blood & knuckles ), which comes in 3 different sizes but I opted for the small one. It was delicious. The noodles were thick and chewy - which what I wanted, instead of the usual thinner noodles at other shops. I would consider this shop a “ hole in the wall “. Très bon khao piak sen nyay! Un des meilleurs du coin. Bouillon de porc épais, grosses nouilles de riz, les morceaux de porc du moment (pieds de porc le plus souvent, et cubes de boudin). C'est un restaurant du matin très populaire et très fréquenté. Ouvre très tôt et ferme tôt, on n'y va pas pour diner. La base est toujours de bonne qualité mais bol est différent chaque jour en fonction de la fréquentation et de ce que les cuistots ont trouvé au marché. Certains jours c'est plein de viande, d'autres non. Parfois il y a des beignets en option, parfois non. Premier arrivé premier servi !

Le personnel ne parle généralement pas anglais, il n'y a pas de menu, la déco est ultra-minimaliste. Vous ne parlez pas lao? Pointez du doigt la marmite. C'est 100% local, pas cher...
