As a foreign visitor in Laos, I understand that language barriers can sometimes make communication challenging. However, I was genuinely disappointed by the treatment I received at Ella Cafe. I had visited the cafe three times prior and had always appreciated the atmosphere. One of the worst customer service ever. We were trying to sit at a table and the waitress came to us (with a face looking like she is going to enslave us) literally scolding us to queue and order first before sitting. Even though we were trying our best to be nice, they look like they have never learnt how to smile at all. I was had to try super hard to not let go off my temper.
