Place was so bad. I got the suite and it was not good at all. DAY 1. They gave my room i booked away to someone else. When I got the hotel to check in, they couldn't find my name so I had to show them my booking on here. Booked the suite with 2 beds, my nephew and I. After avoit 30 mins they gave me my room key and I asked for 2 since there is TWO of us and the lady said no. So we got one key. Finally get to the room and there was only 1 bed. Had to go back down and talk to her and she said to stay in that one and they will give my nephew another room for the night. As I walked around the room to check it out, there was dead bugs and dirt behind the table stands then i saw 2 lizards running around. I had to catch them and put them outside. Had to wait until after 2pm to get the room I booked and well. It did not look like the room in the picture. Decided to not go complain and deal with it. Bed was not good. Felt like it was going to break in BOTH the suite and the room my nephew stayed in the first night. So the pictures DO NOT MATCH THE ROOMS. Just a fyi. We needed the room one more day and did not want to go get another place, so I went to extend it and they said the price for it was doubled. Said f it and paid for it since I did not want to go look for another hotel for one night. On the extended day we got back to the room and my nephew went to use the bathroom only to find out we had no running water. So we had a toilet with poop floating around. Finally went and checked out, we had them do laundry ONCE and the guy at the desk told me it was $55 CASH. I said I didn't have any USD on me but my card and he said no... It seems like he just wanted to pocket the money. I ended up giving him Lao kip but $55 converted to lao kip was roughly 1.25 million but he wanted me to give him 1.4 million kip. I showed him the conversation rate then he lowered it to 1.35 million kip. At this point I just wanted to leave so I...

Read moreWe booked this hotel for the second week of a work trip, hoping to have a comfortable space to enjoy after busy days, and we were disappointed.
We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday to check-in, as we had noted when making the reservation, and found the lobby empty with half the lights off. No one was at the front desk and one of the security guards ended up coming over to help us. He was very friendly, but he had to call a staff member who spoke English and could talk him through checking us in.
Once we arrived at our room, we were discouraged by the state of it. There was hair and hair ties on the ground, telling me the floor had not been cleaned before us. There were several tears in the bedding. There was a blood stain on one of the towels and the other had a fraying edge. We had also chosen the option, when making the reservation, to have the beds configured as 1 king bed and 1 twin bed, rather we had 3 twin beds. Lastly, we pulled back our window curtains only to discover our view was of some exterior, dusty hallway.
Another bizarre thing was we had a maid let herself into our room at 8:30am on the morning. Thankfully we were up and dressed when it happened.
We spent the night there, but ended up checking out the next morning to move hotels. The staff at the front desk were still very friendly and helpful.
All in all, the staff there were lovely, but the space felt like it was done up in 2010 and hasn’t been updated or maintained since. I’d say it’s comparable cleanliness to the average hostel, but you’re paying the price of a hotel. The location is also on the edge of where all the shops and restaurants are, but far enough that it’s not necessarily a nice,...
