This restaurant is basically a culinary Russian roulette, and spoiler: we lost.
The menu looks like it was designed by a bored toddler with a glue stick. Random food photos, some Lao words, maybe English, maybe not—good luck decoding it. Asking the staff what’s in a dish is a comedy sketch, because the answer is always some variation of “yes.”
So I gambled on “mix seafood.” Big mystery. Noodles? Rice? Salad? Who knows! Turns out it was noodles. Spicy noodles.
