We got there without a reservation at lunchtime (around 13:30) and they got us a table right away. The place is beautiful, minimalistic, very bright. So, this is the best garlic bread I've had in Latvia. Dill sauce was amazing. Plus everything they did with lingonberry was divine. Both blueberry and rhubarb lemonade were 10/10. They were extremely accommodating when we asked for vegetarian options, so in the end we got the forest flatbread with moose meat on just one side. They even put extra cheese on the side without meat. Amazing flavour, amazing service! Then we got the cheesecake with cranberry to share. Amazing as well. Incredible experience for the price. Can't recommend this place enough.

We liked the food, but, as many people pointed out in the reviews, the staff had issuess with organization. We ordered drinks + a starter + late lunch. Drinks came rather fast, but we had to wait for the food for at least an hour, possibly even an hour an a half. Of course, both the starter and the dishes came together: starter (garlic bread) was still hot, but main dishes were rather lukewarm. There were no heads up, no apologies. The service was shameless like the painting in the bathroom. We wondered whether it portrayed one of the waitress (they looked too similar). If that was the case, it makes sense, since it showed that the staff cared about their image more than about the actual service.

We ordered the food - starters, soups, main course and green tea. A few moments later we received the tea - which was admittedly ok in taste. An hour later we still didn't get our food - people who came later had by that point both received their food and eaten it. We asked the waitress for explanations and she just disappeared. 10 minutes later we checked the price of tea in the menu and left the precise amount of money (3.5 euro if anyone wants to know) on the table. I don't think that a restaurant run with such incompetence deserves a place in such a nice town.

Guys, listen up :) Me and my family came here, and we enjoyed everything from A to Z 🙌 The restaurant food was amazing as the chef is someone who has a great reputation 😋 Rooms were so clean and fully equipped, and the service has been taken at the personal level, taking care of the tiniest detail by their management. A couple of piece of advice are to have room number 7 as it is the biggest they have, and secondly, please visit the castle of Cesis. Superb, and highly recommended by Numm!

Outstanding food and service. Attentive staff. Lovely terrace with views over the town roofs. You can see and feel this dishes was created with care and the love for good food. Small selection of really good local craft beer. Strongly recommend the Pike File as main and Tiger shrimps for a starter. Will be back for more flavor experiences.

What a wonderful surprise! All dishes served with a plating of a star rated restaurant. Lovely flavours and vegetarian options. I had the beetroot and goats cheese starter and stuffed zucini main. Outdoor seating and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend restaurant 🥰
