Before heading out in the chilly October afternoon, we went to this place to have a blast from the past moment as we soon realised, we his place hasn’t changed a bit for decades, which gives it a certain charm, for sure! :) The ordering was a bit of a nightmare as those poor 2 women behind the counter lyrics their best to serve everyone at a reasonable speed, so patience at busy times is definitely needed! 🙈 The salad and desert bar could benefit from names or at least numbers so customers could say what they’d like instead of pointing at the dishes. 🙈 An easily rectified situation and surely would make the ordering experience easier and better for the customers as well as the staff. 🤷🏼♀️ Interesting choice of pizzas, which is one of the reasons we went to this place. From classic to more, dare I say, slightly strange options. I went for the spinach and feta pizza ,which was nice enough, even though I would be perfect if they’ve put sundried/sunblushed tomatoes instead of fresh ones but I might just be too picky when it comes to my food so I’m not criticising anyone by any means. This place gets incredibly busy so they must be doing something right! ;) Overall- a charming place, great for families, friends, and...

We stopped by Pagrabiņš hoping for a nice casual meal, but the experience was far from great. The place was packed, and we had to stand in line for about 15 minutes just to order - mostly because people were deciding what to eat only once they got to the register. There are very few tables, so you actually need to find a seat before ordering, which we only realized after watching others scramble for spots. We tried French fries, carrot salad, dessert, and an ice cream shake. The fries were just okay - edible, but way too salty and over-seasoned. The ice cream shake, however, was honestly a joke: served warm, in a tiny 200ml glass, and somehow more expensive than a half-liter cider. Easily one of the most disappointing shakes we’ve had. The only thing worth mentioning in a positive way was the dessert, which was decent and nicely presented. Overall, Pagrabiņš looks cozy at first glance, but that’s where the charm ends. Overcrowded, poorly organized, and serving underwhelming food for the price. We wouldn’t recommend it - there are plenty of better spots around that actually deliver on both...
Read moreCafe is located in very beautiful place but customer service is bad. Firstly names of pizza are there on the board without any information about ingredients, sizes aren’t provided either. Premisses are very dark. Menus weren’t available on the tables or offered by the staff. Menus were offered only when we asked staff about ingredients, that was after pizza was already made. When asked for sauces member of staff told us it’s isn’t their job to bring us sauces and we should go downstairs and get them ourselves. When one of us went to get sauces downstairs member of the staff by the till said there are no separate sauces available for pizza. Overall, pizza was nice but staff attitude...
