We’d been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a while, and it did not disappoint. From the first bite, the Baltic herring (served with chips and a house-made sauce) brought pure joy — a solid 11/10. The scallops were another standout: beautifully cooked, delicate, and full of flavor.
The menu changes every 2–3 weeks, so this review reflects our experience during this particular visit.
Service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and clearly knowledgeable about the dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and unpretentious, striking just the right tone for a place focused on high-quality food.

Read moreI had Dinner here and it was lovely. The place was not very full, the only waitress working that day was very professional and her English was good. We chose to share a couple of appetizers, then all had our own mains which included fish and lamb. We then had both available desserts. We had their Italian house wine to drink. Everything we had was perfect, the food was very good and not only delicious but also beautifully arranged. The service was, as mentioned, impeccable. The chef came out from time to time during our meal and also chatted with us after the desserts. He told us he made lots of his ingredients himself and grew vegetables in his own garden, which was very impressive. The location is a little easy to miss from the street but very nice from the inside. On top of all this, compared to all fine dining options I know in the rest of Europe and the U.S., the prices here were very fair. All in all, I will definitely be coming back next time I visit Liepaja. Big...
Read moreNice ambiance, interesting food with great tastes. The owner is enthuastic couple trying to offer nice food and ceative presentation. We loved every dish....but the challenge was beer selection ...Malduguns (the only available beer producer) seemed to produce only bitterly tasting beers. ....i asked for recommendations, 1st was bitter, tried 2nd beer recommendation, and it was bitter again (each costed 6 euros). The overall experience , thus, started to became bitter as well... Unfortunately the owner was as stubborn as myself...insisting that this not enjoyable beer should be accepted ...because he thinks so... and he wants to serve a fansy (not commonly used) beers. Unfortunately beers bitter taste and following discussion impacted the food taste and the whole experience in a very negative way. I personaly did NOT enjoy neither...
