"Nearly 70 hectares of parkland await you right next to the beach. The park was created in the 1870s and over the years, the city’s most prominent citizens built grand wooden summer cottages here, many of which are Art Nouveau in style. Stroll down Liepu and Dzintaru streets for excellent 100-year-old architecture or take advantage of all that the park has to offer including beer gardens and cafés, miniature golf, tennis courts, bowling, a huge children's playground and even a skate park. Nothing to do except walking, drinking and eating. Casual playground for your kids. Oh yeah bowling. Abandoned concert hall, abandoned sanatorium and market booths that looks like russian parks. Roads are good. Can go cycling. If youre a skateboard lover or longboard lover roads are not gonna make you happy. There is a skatepark and its mainly purposes for scooters and bmx and inline.
