Food was great, waitresses are great too. Owner (the woman in blue and white check top) is a bit racist. All empty tables inside, have to forced me sit out side in the hot air. Locals came after me with no bookings still got their tables inside the room, I’m a bit disappointed with the mentality that the owner has. Yes I am a visitor, I hope the country is not welcoming their guests like this. I came I. As the name sounds homely and warm, such a insult to its own name. I thought it only happened to me, check the reviews out, how they treat foreigners, no matter u French or Australian.

Home-made simple tasty quality food you can find in this restaurant managed by a hard-working Lebanese lady. Recipes are just what we like, healthy, fresh, tasty, with quality and seasonal ingredients. Platters change and new options are offered every time we go there. Prices are reasonable. Staff is adorable, quick, and all are hard working. What they did with interior though simple, just makes you change mood and escape the hustle and bustle. Just go there and enjoy

It’s ultimately the best home-kind of Lebanese food you can get in Beirut. The owner Samia runs the whole operation and cooking. Different plat du jour everyday along with the different lebanese meze. Tabouli salad is at its best. It’s not the cheapest restaurant but its worth it. The only bad thing there is that you could stumble upon some corrupt Lebanese politicians.

Very few are the places that offer the homey Lebanese food that we all grew up eating. Most Lebanese restaurants offer the mezze and grills and staple dishes that international travelers know about Lebanese cuisine.

Mum & I is a small join where food is prepared, like its name indicates, by Samia Massoud and her mum. AT the place you usually find business people swarming for lunch from neighboring business district

The menu is rich and varied and all of the dishes (at least those I have tasted) were really good. A must visit if you are near the area and looking for a good meal that...
