Nice Italian restaurant, authentic dishes, very expensive, very delicious food. Great location, terrace in the spring/summer, simple setting. I ordered Filet mignon (forgot its name on the menu), and my friend ordered spinach ravioli tomato sauce, both were delicious. I ordered Cannoli it was stuffed with ricotta and pistachio, I dunno why I didn't pay attention to the fact it mentioned pistachio on the menu (I guess I just wanted to have cannoli) I like the traditional cannoli without the pistachio, I guess some guests would like the pistachio twist, I didn't, but it was tasty. My friend ordered Crème Brûlée, well it was Crème Brûlée. If you like Italian food and you happen to be in Beirut, check out Gavi. The name Gavi comes from an Italian wine named after the city Gavi Piedmont, province of Alessandria,...

I have been here several times for dinner, it is a wonderful hidden restaraunt in the center of the city. Good food and service was good and the staff are wonderful are friendly. So today my husband and I went there for lunch, it was empty, he ordered the Ravioli dish, after 20 minutes our food came. My husband took a bite of his Ravioli and could not eat it, to his shock the Ravioli was still frozen from the middle, it seems they cook the food and then freeze it and then defrost it and heat it in the microwave before serving it. He returned his plate, and the disappointing part was that the manager did not bother to come to us and apologize for this big mistake! A restaurant like that should have standards and a good manager and management if they want customers to return! VERY...

Tried out Gavi this past weekend on a Saturday night. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a very original ceiling & lighting design.

We ordered a few items off the menu to share: Gnocchi Pecorino (3/5) Spaghetti al Pomodoro (4/5) Pizza Vegetarian (4/5) Pizza Quattro Formaggi (5/5)

Service was a bit slow, and all items arrived at the same time, although we were sharing them so some plates got cold while we ate the others. Our waiter Bashir was more than helpful and friendly - make sure you sit in his section.

Prices are above average for some platters (depending on...

Gavi GAVI IS A STYLISH AND AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANT THAT SEAMLESSLY MERGES TRADITIONAL DISHES WITH MODERN FLAIR. Gavi’s menu is purely Italian, offering traditional favorites, including antipasti, pasta, pizza and risotto as well as choice meat and fish dishes, with a tempting selection of desserts. Traditional techniques and quality ingredients are essential to delivering the authentic Italian experience. Only the finest flour is used for Gavi’s pizzas and, along with the pasta selection, can be requested in a gluten-free version for diners with dietary considerations. Very nice 👌
