Khan Baghdad Restaurant — Restaurant in Ras Beirut

We were delighted to have discovered Khan Baghdad. The food was amaaazing! We loved the free dishes brought to the table (delicious soup, beetroot, cucumber in yogurt and pasta salad). We ordered the lamb biryani and it was truly spectacular! It came with sides of beans in a sauce and okra in a sauce plus large breads. The staff were so helpful as it was our first time there and we weren’t familiar with the menu. We were pleased to receive a menu in English and the lovely staff spoke good English. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for really good (and reasonably priced)...

Appalling experience. It’s almost like we were being pranked. There is no digitization whatsoever, everything is purely manual. The waitress was passive aggressive, especially after taking our order wrong. We asked to take the rest to go, it took thirty minutes before I had to go stand by the kitchen door to ensure they packed my leftover food.

I do not recommend this to anyone, in rush days. It may be good when it’s not busy, I guess we may have been unlucky.
