⭐️ Very Disappointing Experience at Rouh Beirut – Gemmayze

We visited Rouh Beirut Gemmayze as a group and ordered a 100-piece sushi boat, which took almost an hour to be served. According to the menu, it was supposed to include 2 crab salads and 2 sashimi plates. Unfortunately, the quality was extremely poor — the salmon had a spoiled, acidic taste (“m3affin w m7amid”), and none of us were able to eat it.

When we informed the staff, the floor manager politely apologized and mentioned that the salmon was “maybe not well stored during preparation.” We appreciated the apology, but by that time, everyone had already felt nauseous and couldn’t eat anything else. They offered us complimentary shots as compensation.

However, when the bill arrived, the full sushi boat was still included — only with a 25% discount — even though we hadn’t eaten it. To make things worse, the sashimi plates were suddenly counted within the 100 pieces, which was unclear and misleading in the menu.

When we raised this issue politely, the branch manager came over, spoke in a very inappropriate tone, then turned his back and walked away mid-conversation. As we were leaving, he followed us outside, shouted on the main road, and even took pictures of our car’s license plate — behavior that was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
