My wife and I stayed in this hotel due to the close proximity to her mothers house. This is our second visit and wish to present a fair and comprehensive review of this hotel. ||First, the location...it is located in a very safe area and has a 24 hours starbucks across the road and shopping areas. The room we were given was one of their newly upgraded rooms and was excellent..modern and tastefully furnished with a fantastic rainfall shower and large LCD TV. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety but on some occasions some items would be missing from the buffet and you would need to ask for it, however the restaurant staff were all EXCELLENT. They would do anything possible to make you happy (including making us specially fried eggs every morning!). They all need special commendation for their attitude and service and to the chef who would make us anything we wanted. The pool is seasonal, but looks fantastic. This hotel has a lot of potential but was relatively empty when we visited so it did naturally lack a bit of atmosphere. I cannot fault the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help. The room was always cleaned to a high standard and the only issue we had was a stuck toilet flush one night and this was repaired within 30 minutes of reporting it at 9pm in the evening!!! well done!!||||All facilities were good, there was a bar and had no issues walking around the neighbourhood. In room Internet was reliable and relatively fast for Beirut standards. Power outages are common occurrence in Beirut but hotel was quick to switch on backup power when these outages occurred so it was not an issue.||||Overall, as with our last visit, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The manager even made time to have a coffee with us which made us feel special. I would like to visit again when the hotel is full as I really think this hotel would have a really good atmosphere. ||||We will stay here again on our next...
Read moreAfter an unhappy stay at another hotel in Beirut, I was recommended the Promenade by a friend. The location was amazing as it was close to everything i needed it to be, including downtown. It has nearby cafes and restaurants which are amazing (some include Momonnia, Starbucks and Sushi Star). The internet is quite fast however only allowed one device, the second + is at a cost to you. Whilst the gym is pretty non functional because of no airconditioning and bathroom being locked, the swimming pool and the area around it, is very relaxing. The staff are all amazing!!! I will definitely stay here again next year... so good it made me extend my holidays...
Read moreStayed for a week in this hotel. At first I did not have much expectations because the building looked old from outside. I was surprised though to see that my room was modern, new, clean and spacious. Nothing really to complain about the rooms as I always had a good night sleep. Internet is for maximum 2 devices and you pay if you want to add more. Breakfast and the food is okay but nothing exceptional. Location is a bit outside of the main city center but it’s close by a nearby shopping center. There is also Starbucks just across the street. |Overall okay but as any other hotels in Beirut, it’s a bit pricey for the product they...
