Zaatar w Zeit — Restaurant in Zalqa

Hungry at midnight? ZwZ is a great option, so we passed by zalka branch for a late meal. We ordered Famous Chicken, French Fries, and Quinoa Halloumi Salad...

Presentation: not bad for the salad, awesome for the fries, not so great for the chicken famous wrap.

Taste: what a way of making quinoa salad! Holy Lord that was tasty, I loved the pumpkin seeds and red beans with it. The fries were crunchy and awesome. Yet I didn't really like the Famous Chicken wrap, it's not really built together properly and the serving temperature wasn't perfect. In regards of the served Mayo, I believe there are better options. The Ketchup bottle says it's organic, I have no idea if that is the truth but who cares, it made me feel good anyway.

Service: the service was good, no late order, all served accurately as ordered, and the waiter was polite and not very pushy. But it wasn't a peak time so I can't judge.

Cleanliness: the restaurant was clean and the toilets were flawless.

Last but not least, it is not acceptable, in my opinion, to serve hand gel instead of wet wipes in such a place. Being a part of this industry, I do understand the cutting cost procedures, but I say: leave the wipes out of it, just serve one wipe for each guest instead of a handful of hand gel.

Zaatar & Zeit continues to be a reliable favorite, and our recent visit certainly reinforced that. The food, as always, hit the spot. From their classic mana'eesh with that perfect zaatar blend to the more innovative wraps and salads, there's a satisfying variety that caters to different tastes. What truly stood out this time was the surprisingly cozy environment. Despite being a bustling spot, there was a relaxed and welcoming vibe that made our meal enjoyable. It felt like a comfortable place to unwind and savor the delicious food. And speaking of enjoyment, the kids were definitely happy campers! The children's menu offered enough appealing options to keep them satisfied, and seeing them happily munching away added to the overall positive experience. It's always a plus when a restaurant manages to please both the adults and the little ones. Overall, Zaatar & Zeit offers a winning combination: consistently good food, a surprisingly cozy atmosphere, and a menu that leaves the kids smiling. Nothing feels like home to me more than Zaatar w Zeit Zalka. It's where I hang out mostly with my friends and coworkers, whether during daytime, evening or even after party.

It's not only because of the great ZWZ consistent casual dining, but because of the hospitality and the great service which makes us feel like home. And that's what makes me comfortable to work there instead of my office or cafes.

The team is always friendly and professional and I congratulate you guys for always developing the team members to be always the best in the country.
