ROCK 'N' ROLL PUB Šiauliai — Restaurant in Šiauliai

The positives: Prices were good For a place with "Rock N Roll" in its name, it actually played rock. Mostly crowd-pleasers, but good crowd-pleasers from the 50s-90s. That ended around 22:00, when they completely shifted towards dance music. The place did not have a dance floor for what I could tell, but the clientele certainly seemed like the club-going crowd.

The negatives: The food was bland and mediocre at best. The ribs I was served were incredibly dry and semi-chewy. If I was rating the place solely for my meal, it would be getting a 1/5. They had monitors on, showing various sports events. At least the audio was off, but it felt more like a sports pub than a music pub. Or a place to eat.

Other notes: We went on a weekend, and as it seems to be one of Siauliai's most popular places, it was quite packed. So if you plan to visit, maybe book a table in advance. Staff was ok, though the place is so busy that it can be difficult to be served when you needed it.

Final verdict: A decent place to drink, but you should probably not eat there. Or if you do, do not...

Went to this restaurant based on the Google reviews and have to say we were disappointed.

It was cold and wet outside so we went downstairs into the basement, unfortunately it was still cold and very drafty!

When we arrived all the tables in the main part of the restaurant were taken so we sat on bar stools near the wall. The music was pretty loud but very soon the music was drowned out by the sound of the basketball commentary on the TV!

We moved several times to try to find a quoter spot but to no avail.

On the positive the food was good - tasty nachos, nice fresh Ceasear salad and a great burger. Service also good. Just a shame it was so cold and noisy - definitely not a conducive atmosphere to stay any longer...

After some time and possibly my last reviews the place got much better. I feel my customer needs are met, waitresses became more polite, nice and new ones are very cool and nice at service! Food is good and tasty, drinks too and the prices are good as well. Definitely recommend and cannot say anything bad about this place anymore 👍🏻 Hope the bar will keep the position and improve itself. One minus that is still remaining - the lack of space, especially on crowded days like Friday or Saturday and in winter days, just nowhere to sit. Hope in the future it...
